The place I had chosen for my installation had already been taken: “never mind” I thought – after all, life has taught me that everything is perfect and so I had to accept the challenge. At the end of the day, it is never an evil that is not a good thing, I said to myself.
A few steps further on, hidden by the vegetation of that wild glade, I had found the right territory to welcome what was taking shape in my thoughts.
The place where it all began had a narrow entrance that had to be cleaned up a bit, but it hid a hollow between the rocks that resembled a belly.
Womb that nourishes and welcomes, that gives life, the space where Mother Earth manifests herself.
A flap of wings and I realized that there I would represent you in the act of giving life to us mortals, and in this sacred place the mystery of the two origins has materialized.
